SEKURA and Air Crew Transport (ACT), a company specializing in the transportation of airline crews, have decided to work together on innovative projects that seek to provide a safe and secure transport experience while complying with the guidelines of the TSA.
The intent of this law is to establish procedures to protect the airline crew displacements that occur annually in the United States. Additionally this law is intended to provide protection for airline personnel worldwide who are dependent on outside contractors to transport them to their required destinations.
SEKURA and ACT, two companies that have already successfully collaborated on previous projects, have partnered to complement their extensive capabilities by providing the latest technology and physical resources to ensure the safety of airline crews throughout the world. Consequently, their main objective is to collectively build a capability that is applicable to both local markets and internationally capability.
This strategic alliance consolidates the resources of two highly respected companies in order to enable them to respond to the needs of airlines worldwide to perform a more effective, efficient and safe transport of key personnel.
About ACTAir Crew Transport was founded in 1995 in the Northwest Florida community of Ft. Walton Beach. Originally, the company operated as a private passenger shuttle service for the tri-city airports of Ft. Walton Beach (VPS), Pensacola (PNS) and Panama City (ECP). The company also provided ground transportation to our military at many of the local bases such as Eglin Air Force Base. In 2000, the company began servicing the airline industry flight crews by providing unsurpassed quality and service while assuring safe, secured reliable ground transportation. The company continues to serve our military in several locations throughout the U.S.
In 2012, the company developed the Security Assisted Flight Enhancement, (S.A.F.E.), software which is a web based scheduling software designed to integrate with the airline's scheduling software eliminating the risk of human error in the input phase. The software has a comprehensive security feature which allows customers to view and analyze company staff profiles insuring complete investigative background checks and balances. Face recognition software developments allow the end user to view staff credentials including current I.D. requirements.
Over the next few years, the company is expected to grow into 130 airports nationwide. Our headquarters are located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL (FLL) and this is the site of our 24/7 automated state-of-the-art dispatch center. Due to the high degree of automation, our dispatch center operates with little unnecessary overhead cost allowing for a more reliable and cost effective way to provide ground transportation to our customers.
